Deception Point by Dan Brown

Deception Point by Dan Brown; 451 pages

The President is under attack during an election year because of his stance on NASA.

When NASA makes a huge discovery the Persisent pulls out all the stops to ensure it won’t backfire. He calls in four civilian scientists to confirm the find and the daughter of his opponent  to deliver the news to his staff. All is going in the Presidents favor until a huge discovery is made.

This book was pretty good. It was your typical Dan Brown book. There’s your unbelievable piece of information coming to light, this time a major scientific discovery. You have your male and female heroine uncovering something massive and finding themselves opposed by the government when they try to reveal it. You have their epic journey to try to uncover the truth… Blah blah.

Don’t get me wrong, it makes for a fantastic book but that’s how all of his books are written. Still, it was a solid story with a cool plot that got wholly ridiculous at the end, in my opinion.

Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

My next review will be for The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan!

  1. So far, I have only read Inferno from him and I had to laugh hard, as you are so right: his books are always the same thing! I also loved Inferno, but it is so true, hahaha!
