The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus #1) by Rick Riordan

The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus #1) by Rick Riordan; 553 pages

No memory… Of anything.

Jason wakes up on a school bus full of teens on a field trip next to a girl named Piper who says she’s his girlfriend and a guy named Leo who claims he’s Jason’s best friend. But Jason doesn’t remember any of it. And then they are attacked by wind spirits and whisked off to Camp Half Blood where all three learn that they are demigods … And they have a quest.

Their quest: Save Hera before the winter solstice or a great and terrible force will rise. So, no pressure.

I absolutely loved this book!! Loved loved loved it!!

I thought the characters were amazing!! Especially Leo! He’s my favorite! And not because I kept thinking of the human torch the whole time. Although … They seemed to do a lot of passing out in this book. Just an observation. It didn’t totally bother me.

I loved that they had a flying metal dragon! It was so cool! And his name made me chuckle every time I read it.

And I loved the mythology!! I loved all the new gods and goddesses and their children and all the other fun people/creature/things! It made it so much more interesting to see all the new characters!
